Landslide in Maharashtra’s Raigad: 22 rescued, many trapped; CM Shinde on-site.

The NDRF shared that there was a landslide incident in Irshalwadi village, located in the Khalapur tehsil of Maharashtra’s Raigad district. They have concerns that some individuals may be stuck under the fallen rubble.

The NDRF mentioned that two teams have arrived at the location and initiated the search and rescue mission. They also informed that two additional teams have departed from Mumbai to join the mission.

Meanwhile, the Raigad Police has established a central hub after the incident. The police mentioned that until now they have saved 22 individuals from the location, but there is concern that several others may be stuck in the rubble.

Maharashtra Ministers Uday Samant and Dada Bhuse reached Khalapur’s Irshalwadi in Raigad district.
