Toh suniye, Washington DC mein, International Monetary Fund yaani IMF ne India ko bola hai ki chawal ke export par laga ban ko hatana chahiye. IMF ne kaha hai ki India ke chawal ke export par laga ban ‘globally harmful’ hai aur desh ko in restrictions ko hatana chahiye.

IMF ne kaha hai ki woh “encourage” karega India ko, khaas karke non-basmati chawal ke export par lage restrictions ko hatane ke liye.
20 July, 2023 ko, Bharatiya Sarkar ne faisla liya tha ki non-basmati chawal ke export ko band kar diya jaye, taaki desh mein chawal ki supply ko badhaya jaye. Is band ka matlab hai ki festive season ke aas-paas ke samay mein daam kam rahe.

Non-basmati chawal ka 25 percent hissa hota hai Bharat ke poore chawal export mein. Consumer Affairs, Food, aur Public Distribution Ministry ne ye bhi bataya hai ki par-boiled non-basmati chawal aur basmati chawal ke export mein koi badlav nahi hoga.
