Chandrayaan-3, 34 Din Pehle Launch Hua, Aaj Hoga Bada Kaam – Vikram Aur Pragyan Ko Alag!

BENGALURU: 34 din pehle chala gaya tha Chandrayaan-3, GSLV-Mk3 ya LVM-3 ke saath, aur aaj bada event hone wala hai — Vikram (lander) aur Pragyan (rover) se bana landing module ka alag hona, propulsion module se — aaj ke din.

Budhvaar ko Isro ne spacecraft ko — jisme propulsion module lander ke upar hai — 153km x 163km ki orbit mein sthapit kar diya tha, jaise ki plan tha.

Jab Isro safalta se landing module ko alag karega, toh mission ant mein aayega: Moon par landing.

Journey Ab Tak

Chandrayaan-3, Chandrayaan-2 ka follow-up mission — jo ki September 2019 mein planned tareeke se land nahi kar paya tha — Chandrayaan-2 ke failne ke kuchh hafto baad conceive hua tha.

Yahan se, Isro ko karib chaar saal lag gaye spacecraft ko launch-ready banane mein, khaaskar jab lander ko kai changes se guzarna pada, jaise ki fifth engine ki hataavat, pairon ko majboot banana, algorithms mein sudhaar, suraj-pannel ka area badhana, naye sensors ki introduction, aadi.

Launch & Earth-Bound Manoeuvres

Aakhirkaar, 14 July ko Chandrayaan-3 ko launch kiya gaya aur Earth ke chaaron ore elliptical orbit mein daala gaya, aur uske ek din baad, Isro ne pehle orbit-raising manoeuvre (Earthbound firing-1) ko pura kiya, spacecraft ko 41,762km x 173km ki orbit mein rakhte hue.

Doosra Earth-bound manoeuvre 16 July ko kiya gaya. Ye pehle manoeuvre ke mukable chota tha aur iska uddeshya tha Perigee (Moon ke najdik tareek point) ko sthir karne ka. Is manoeuvre ke ant tak, Chandrayaan-3 41,603km x 226km ki orbit mein tha.

18 July ko, tisra Earth-bound manoeuvre safalta purvak Apogee (Earth se door tareek point) ko bada kar 51,400km x 228km ki orbit mein rakha. Do din baad, 20 July ko, dusre se aakhri Earth-bound manoeuvre ne spacecraft ko 71,351km x 233km ki orbit mein rakha.

Apogee ko fir se bada kar 1.2-lakh-km ko paar karne mein safalta milti hai, 25 July ko antim Earth-bound manoeuvre ke sath.

TLI & Lunar-Bound Manoeuvres

Antariksh mein pahunchne ke 6 din baad, 1 August ko Isro ne trans-lunar injection (TLI) kiya, jisse spacecraft ko Moon ki taraf le gaya. TLI ke ant tak, Chandrayaan-3 ki uchai karib 3.6-lakh-km thi.

Aur phir, 5 August ko, space agency ne Lunar Orbit Insertion (LOI) kiya aur Chandrayaan-3 ko Moon ke chaaron ore elliptical orbit mein rakha. Is samay, Perilune (Moon ke najdik tareek point) 164km tha aur Apolune (Moon se door tareek point) 18,074km tha.

Agli din hi, Isro ne doosre lunar-bound manoeuvre ko safalta purvak pura kiya aur spacecraft ko 170km x 4,313km ki orbit mein rakha.

9 August ko, Isro ne kaha: “Chandrayaan-3 ka orbit 174km x 1437km tak kam ho gaya hai”, tisre lunar-bound manoeuvre ke baad. Paanch din baad, mission orbit circularisation phase mein pravesh karta hai, 14 August ko chauthe lunar-bound manoeuvre ke sath, spacecraft ko 151km x 179km ki orbit mein rakhte hue.

Uske baad aaya Budhvaar ka manoeuvre, jo alag hone ka mauka taiyar karta hai, jo aaj (17 August) ke liye planned hai.
